About Taryn

Hi guys! Well, what to say... I am 21 years-old and currently studying at Purdue University in Indiana. I am working towards a BFA in Photography, minoring in Costume Design and Art History. School is ok, but the people I live with down at school are what really make it special. A large group, of what we call The PYG (Purdue Young Group), live in an apartment building right off campus. This group is filled with some of the best friends anyone could ask for. They are full of encouragement, spiritual guidance, and accountability! It's a wonderful group to be a part of! I, like my sister, also LOVE to travel. Although she has a lot more experience than I do, I have still been very blessed in being able to travel around the world. I have been to Mexico and Jamaica on Mission's Trips, Finland- where I visited one of our exchange students Nina, Ecuador- with some of the coolest girls I know, and Europe- backpacking with my sister, well, sort of backpacking. I am also fortunate enough to be designing swimsuits through Shabby Apple, a company who designs modest dresses for women. And when I say modest, I mean the cutest dresses you will ever wear without a cardigan! My God (the One True God) and my family are the most important things in my life, and I have been blessed with the most amazing parents and siblings anyone could ask for. They are seriously the strongest and most amazing people I know. Taye, who is my older sister and usual traveling buddy is awesome! She said all of those nice things about me in her "About Taye" sections, but she was really talking about herself, she just wrote the wrong name. :D She's fantastic, cultured, adventurous, and has a mind that could keep anyone entertained and dreaming forever! Needless to say I have been very blessed in life and am very thankful for all the opportunities I have been given. I hope you all enjoy reading and hearing about our travels!
